Thank you to the Davis Family of Roswell, GA, for sending us this gorgeous photo they took of a rainbow as seen from the cabin in early July.
The Davis Family wrote, "We had a great time. A big storm came up one evening (picture of rainbow attached) that created the most beautiful lighting conditions. We saw deer every morning at the cabin and lots of other critters in Yellowstone National Park. Your cabin is lovely and we do appreciate the chance to stay there!

Attention Wolf Watchers:
Howling Fun!
Montana Rocky Top Cabin is
located just 30 minutes from Lamar Valley, the home of Yellowstone's
largest elk herd, bison herds, and wolf packs -- descendants of the
famed reintroduced wolves. This makes it the perfect destination for
wolf watchers and all wildlife enthusiasts! To get you in the spirit of wolf watching, we took this amateur video at the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center in West Yellowstone, on Montana, April 19, 2008 (located an easy drive through the Park from our cabin).

Wildlife Sightings Reported at the Cabin
The
Montana Rocky Top Cabin sits at 8,600 feet at Colter Pass. The
property shares a boundary with the Gallatin National Forest;
therefore, wildlife sightings are daily. Occasionally, something
spectacular happens by. We have been provided with long lists of
animals spotted from the cabin but here are just a couple highlights
from '08-'09! We provide a spotting scope at the dining room window
for these wonderful moments!
